The Undeniable Benefits of the Town of Mineola

Easy Accessibility

One of the biggest worries for employers when choosing a business location is whether or not it can be easily reached by all of their dedicated employees. The trick is to choose a centralized, convenient location that your employees would be happy to commute to.

Mineola is at the crossroads of transportation. It has one of the biggest and busiest train stations around, servicing the LIRR’s Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma, Oyster Bay, and Montauk branches as well as a many bus routes. It’s also just a short train ride away from the heart of New York City.

Besides public transportation, the Town of Mineola is near some of Long Island’s most traveled roads and highways like the Meadowbrook State Parkway, Northern State Parkway, Old Country Road, Jericho Turnpike, and Hillside Avenue

Incomparable Proximity

Saying that Mineola is centrally located might be a bit of an understatement. Anywhere you need to go is just a short ride from some of Long Island’s best restaurants and shopping centers.

Take a trip down Jericho Turnpike or Mineola Boulevard and you’ll be greeted with endless stores and restaurants of all varieties.

There are quaint eateries like the Mineola Diner and P.S. Burgers that are perfect for a quick (but undeniably tasty) bite to eat. There are also more diverse options like the Portuguese restaurant Churrasqueira Bairrada or, my personal favorite, the contemporary Italian eatery Cassariano. Besides those few, there are endless other delicious options that are ideal for a prompt lunch break and even an important client meeting.

Mineola also happens to be right around the corner from Long Island’s premier shopping experience, Roosevelt Field Mall. They recently opened up their $200 million expansion and renovation that includes the new Neiman Marcus, an upscale food court, and tons of other great stores.

With new business centers and developments opening up every day, Mineola is coming into its own as one of Long Island’s most in demand locations.

The area immediately surrounding the train station has seen a renaissance of sorts with the addition of several modern, high-tech luxury condos and apartments buildings.
