Many of us have dreams of owning a massive mansion in the location of our choice. For the rich and famous, those dreams are reality. From high-tech treehouses nestled in the Telluride Mountains of Colorado to entire French villages, some celebrity homes are simply unbelievable.

Celebrity Homes

Leonardo DiCaprio

Situated in Old Las Palmas, Palm Springs, Leonardo DiCaprio’s $5.2 million, 1.3-acre estate is a sight to behold. Originally built in 1965 for singer and actress Dinah Shore, this 7,022 square-foot house is larger than most mid-century modern homes. The actor’s estate features six bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, a guest house, a pool and a tennis court. While he’s busy filming movies, the property is available to rent for $4,500 for anyone who wants to live like Leo for a night.

Manny Pacquiao

Two months before his long-anticipated fight with Floyd Mayweather, professional boxer Manny Pacquiao bought a $12.5 million Beverly Hills home that once belonged to entrepreneur and hip-hop artist Diddy. Part of the reason Pacquiao purchased the home so close to fight time was so his relatives visiting from the Philippines had somewhere to stay. With seven bedrooms, a gorgeous swimming pool and spectacular views of the city, it’s safe to say that Pac-Man’s family probably had few complaints about their American accommodations.

Uma Thurman

In 2013, Uma Thurman bought romance novelist Barbara Taylor Bradford’s River House for a whopping $8.5 million below the original asking price. The estate, located right on New York City’s scenic East River, has four bedrooms, four and half bathrooms, two wood-burning fireplaces, a bar, a library and is furnished top to bottom with lavish works of art.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey’s most recent real estate purchase is truly incredible. It’s a $14 million treehouse on a three-acre property in Colorado’s Telluride Mountains. Equipped with incredible features like a heated driveway that melts snow and a $240,000 tram that takes you from the house to the nearby ski slopes, Oprah’s Colorado estate is one of the most extravagant celebrity homes around.

Calvin Klein

Located in the Hamptons, Long Island’s celebrity real estate hotspot, Calvin Klein’s beachfront mansion is still a work in progress. From the purchase of the land to the construction that’s been completed so far, it’s estimated to have cost the iconic fashion designer about $75 million. In order to take advantage of the stellar ocean views the home provides, every room has a sliding glass door that looks upon the water. The 10-acre property also boasts an infinity-shaped pool and a spare building that is scheduled to be turned into a home theater.

Johnny Depp

This one differs a bit from the rest of the celebrity homes on this list because it’s actually an entire village. In 2001, after his success with Pirates of the Caribbean, Johnny Depp bought a French village 17 miles north of St. Tropez. The 37-acre property has approximately 10,760 square-feet of living space complete with 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a main house, guest cottages, a chapel, a bar, a restaurant, a pirate-themed wine cellar, a skateboard park and two swimming pools. After deciding he no longer needed it, Depp put the village on the market for about $26 million.
