The Best of Long Island Real Estate
Nassau County
With just over a million and a quarter inhabitants, Nassau County represents the western portion of Long Island. It has established itself as a burgeoning commercial and residential capital of New York.
Long Beach
Long Island’s “City by the Sea,” Long Beach, is home to over 35,000 people and several miles of pristine Atlantic Ocean coastline. One of the great things about living in Long Beach is that, no matter where you are, it’s just a short walk to some of the area’s best restaurants, bars and nightlife scenes. For an active, younger crowd, this beach town is ideal.
Garden City
Centrally located in the middle of Nassau, Garden City is optimal for just about everyone. Take a drive down one of their numbered streets and you’ll see sprawling properties and gorgeous homes. There’s a buzzing main street where you’ll find modern eateries and quaint boutiques. Garden City is also conveniently located a few minutes away from the Roosevelt Field Shopping Mall and many prominent Long Island business centers.
Suffolk County
East of Nassau, there’s Suffolk County. The home of Long Island’s famous wine country and the Hamptons, Suffolk is the second biggest county in the state.
Babylon
On Suffolk’s South Shore sits Babylon, one of Long Island’s main cultural capitals. The main street through town is packed with popular restaurants, busy shops and many up-and-coming small businesses. Not to mention Babylon is conveniently just a short drive away from Republic Airport, the Tanger Outlets and Robert Moses State Park.
Melville
Melville is one of Long Island’s emerging business hubs. Besides providing seamless access to anywhere on Long Island, Route 110 is lined with commercial properties and companies who’ve claimed their stake in the area’s growing business landscape. In addition to its proximity to so many jobs, Melville provides easy access to many notable retail stores and popular restaurants like the new Stew Leonard’s and The Refuge.
Long Island real estate is certainly on the rise and there’s plenty of incredible towns and villages that can prove it.
